‘Dubai Creek Harbour at The Lagoons’ is a mixed-use project being jointly developed by Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding. The sprawling waterfront development is expected to be thrice the size of Downtown and upon completion will include over 39,000 residences, 3,600 offices and 20 hotels. The project will spread across 6 million square metres.
Dubai Creek Harbour is located close to Dubai’s mangroves and the Ras Al Khor Wildlife sanctuary. It aims to become a world-class waterfront development and a fully integrated community which will offer a perfect mix of luxury, convenience and sustainability.
The first set of residences launched in this mega-project is Emaar’s Dubai Creek Residences, comprising of six residential towers. It is divided into Dubai Creek Residences North and South, each featuring three high-rise towers. The towers will be 30-35 storeys high and will feature one, two and three bedroom apartments in various types and layouts. These apartments range from 880-2,154 square feet in size.
The project was officially launched on 1st November 2014, with the sale of apartments in two towers. Soon after, Emaar launched sales in another two towers on 15th November 2014. The project has now been fully sold-out with the launch of the remaining two towers on 24th January 2015. The sale of Dubai Creek Residences apartments was launched locally in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and internationally in London and Moscow.
During the launch, the apartments were priced between AED 1,400-1,800 per square foot, with the apartments with Creek view being sold at a higher price tag. The first two towers are expected to be completed by 2018, while the entire project will be fully delivered by 2019.
The towers will feature spacious apartments with modern architecture and high-quality finishes. Future residents can enjoy stunning views of the Dubai Creek and the Dubai skyline. Dubai Creek Residences will be surrounded by a harbour and marina, yacht clubs and a retail promenade. Residents will also have access to a number of amenities like gyms, swimming pools, daycare facilities and recreational avenues.
